While I support families with sleep, sometimes extra support can be helpful too. Below is a list of professionals I trust, whose work sits well alongside sleep support.
Babywearing advice
Zoe Woodman is a trained and insured babywearing consultant based in Dorking. She offers personalised in-person and online consultations, helping parents use slings safely and confidently. Zoe also runs a sling library twice a month at St Paul’s Church, hosts workshops and shares evidence-based guidance on infant development and attachment.
Baby massage
Hartbeeps East Surrey & West Sussex
Baby Loves Massage classes from Hartbeeps take place in The Secret Garden at Priory Farm Garden Centre. Through the gentle art of baby massage, you’ll learn ways to relax and connect with your baby while building your bond and understanding their cues. It’s also a lovely opportunity to meet other local parents in a friendly and supportive environment. Suitable from newborn to around 5 months.
Breastfeeding support
Jill Shepherd is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and qualified breastfeeding counsellor with over 20 years’ experience. Based in Horsham, she offers personalised breastfeeding support, including home visits, and also helps run a free drop-in clinic in Dorking.
Chiropractic care
Jessica Payne is a qualified chiropractor with 17 years’ experience, registered with the General Chiropractic Council. She offers gentle, family-focused chiropractic care at her studio in Leigh (Surrey), supporting everyone from pregnancy and newborns to parents and older adults.
Clinical psychologist
Dr Frankie Harrison is a HCPC‑registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience supporting parents of premature babies, as well as those affected by birth trauma and other perinatal challenges. Combining professional expertise with her own lived experience as a NICU parent, she offers online therapy, group support and resources to help families understand their emotions, build coping skills and feel less alone on the emotional journey of parenthood.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Circe Jackson is a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and clinical supervisor, with over 10 years’ experience as a psychological therapist. She offers face-to-face sessions in central Dorking and online.
Stacey Staples is a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist with over 12 years’ experience and a particular interest in maternal mental health. She offers personalised CBT online and face-to-face in Dorset, supporting clients to improve their wellbeing and manage unhelpful thoughts.
Cranial osteopathy
Claire Conisbee is a qualified osteopath with over 20 years’ experience, working across Surrey and Sussex. She provides hands-on treatment with a special focus on babies, children, and pre- and post-natal mums.
Mum and baby yoga
Rosemary Cantello Scott is an experienced antenatal instructor based in Dorking. She offers mum and baby yoga classes suitable after your postnatal check (around 10-weeks after a c-section). These gentle sessions focus on mindfulness, helping you to reconnect with your body while enjoying calm, bonding time with your baby through simple postnatal movement, songs and relaxation.

Elsa Hartley is a compassionate postnatal doula based in Dorking, supporting families through the early weeks of parenthood. With more than a decade of professional childcare experience and her own journey as a mother, she offers practical help and emotional support, helping parents feel confident, cared for and rested as they adjust to life with their new baby.
